Wandering Bhikkhu begins where Avalokiteshvara left off. Our three protagonists leave the monastery with tear felt goodbyes and depart in separate directions to gather knowledge from all corners of the earth. After several decades, all three of them eventually return home with stories of their adventures as well as detailed descriptions of the unique philosophies, religions and calendar systems of the different societies they three came into contact with. The epic ends with sharing their last breaths together, in the ancient Olive Moksha ceremony practiced for countless generations. You can hear Sean’s guitar wheeze those final, desperate gasps for air as the ego lets go, spirit departs flesh, and consciousness enters the void. This is the moment of death for all three monks, who will travel in synchronization together into their next calling.
